Description of Messages

MTD Radio’s SMS program is response-only. After you text our station-announced number, you may receive a text message from us that:

  • Responds directly to a comment you submitted;
  • Answers a question you asked; or
  • Provides information you requested by keyword, such as a link to our website or mobile app.

We do not send promotional, marketing, or solicitation text messages. You will only receive a message from us after you have texted us first.

Opt-In

You opt in to this program by sending a text message to the number announced on-air by MTD Radio. No other opt-in method is used for this program.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and is based on user interaction (e.g., one reply per comment, question, or keyword you send to us). Message frequency may vary.

Cancellation (STOP)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the number you have been messaging. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, simply text us as you did the first time, and we will start responding to your messages again.
